Factory Outlet, Port Vell and La Boqueria Market – Barcelona, Spain| June’14

First thing on our itinerary was to go outlet shopping~~! There are a few shopping outlet in Barcelona. La Roca Village Outlet has more bigger brands like Loewe, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Burberry…etc.  and if you’re looking for more local brands like Zara, Bershka, Mango….etc., you can visit Heron City. We traveled to La Roca Village by taking the Sagales Shopping Bus as this was one of the easier and cheaper way to get there. The bus tickets to the outlet village can be bought at these places here or buy it online from the website here.

Went for stroll down the Port Vell area after our shopping and settled our dinner at a Tapas Restaurant! Really love all the tapas served in Tapa Tapa that we visited the restaurant a few times at different locations! They have branches in 4 different locations in Barcelona and 1 in Madrid, you can check it out here.

* Nearest Metro station to Port Vell and Barceloneta Beach : L3-Drassanes / L4-Barceloneta.

As we stroll down from the Port Vell to the Columbus statue with the beautiful sunset….

On the 2nd day after our breakfast at a cafe near our place, we visited the La Boqueria Market for MORE FOOD~~!

Well, it’s a food market so we had our lunch there at Pinotxo Bar. It’s a famous Tapas Bar in this market and I would say it’s definitely worth trying! They’re open Monday to Saturday from 6am-4pm.

* Nearest Metro : L3-Liceu
* Operation hours : Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 8.30pm. (Best to visit in the morning or before 2pm)
