Shinsaibashi, Namba & Dotonburi! (Osaka, Japan 2011)

 Day4 & 5 at SHINSAIBASHI/ NAMBA/ DOTONBURI~!

Good things come at last…. Spent our last 2 days at Shinsaibashi and Namba area. Shinsaibashi is one of the longest shopping street in Osaka and is connected/linked to Namba, Dotonburi! This place is enough to make me go crazy!! All we did was shop, eat, shop and eat! Spent 2 whole days walking down this street and we still failed to see the end of this street! o.O
Most of the shops in Osaka opens at 11AM and close at 8 – 9PM.  So we have limited time to shop each day and this street is simply too long to shop in just 1 day!
.
I love this shop~♥ They have plenty of pretty and trendy apparel for both mens and ladies! The prices are reasonable and affordable (as compared to shops in Japan) .
.
.
.
 Let the boss pay…. LOL!
.
To allow our legs to have some rest before we continue our shopping, we had our tea break at a cafe, enjoying their nice coffee and SUPER YUMMILICIOUS cakes…… awww~ what a perrrfect day! ♥
.
This layer Crepe Cake was FANTASTIC~!! Heavenly taste……
.
1 layer of crepe, 1 layer of cream and another layer of crepe and cream……. can you imagine how AWESOME this Crepe Cake taste?! Oh my~
.
Continue with our shopping after having our superb tea break.
.
I’m here at H&M~ SHOPPING~!!! Came out with 1 big bag of clothes! SA-TIS-FAC-TION! LOL.
.
Namba, Dotonburi is right after the H&M! Beautiful place….
.
.
As you can see, the sun has already set and we were famished! So here we were, at this Kani Doraku restaurant to have some CRABSSS for our dinner!! This is at Namba, Dotonburi and this Kani Doraku Crab is easily spotted! This restaurant serves SUPER AWESOME king crabs with all kinds of cooking methods, it’s a MUST TRY~! =))

Day 5 and the last day of our trip….

Tako Yaki for breakfast! This shop is just next to our hotel and they serve really nice Tako Yaki. Bought 12 balls for only ¥400!

Love the way they packed it so nicely…

Yummy~^^

Brought the Tako Yaki to the cafe next door and enjoyed it with a cup of freshly brewed coffee…. mmm~

 Want some coffee..?

Shopping time again~!

Heading to Namba!

At the main headquarter of  Takashimaya.

At Namba Parks.

Found this at a pet shop! Can I have this as my pet…? I think my mum will kill me! Haha!

The beautiful architecture of Namba Parks.

Lunch time~Okonomiyaki~

This was super salty but it taste perfect eating it with the mashed radish!

Of cause we must try the Purikura in Japan~!

Taking down our memories….

…and make this last forever.

Look at her…. happily poking the glass. LOL

Soooo KAWAII~!

With Glico Man and Kuidaore Taro (the famous landmarks in Dotonburi)!

You can find lots of Glico products here!

Me with the famous huge Glico man!

School girls street performing? All the uncles were enjoying it! Haha.

We came across this shop selling all kinds of uniforms/cosplay dresses….! They’re so pretty and ‘fairytale-like’! And they are not expensive!

I wish I can wear this and walk around the streets…. hehehe.

Beef udon for dinner! Super nice~ *drooool~*

Bought all kind of sizes…. I’m a fan of Nissin cup noodles!

Last day and flying back home~While on our way to the airport.

We met super-duper nice people throughout our whole trip, we’re so thankful and without them we probably have missed our flight! We overslept, lost in the train station, missed the train, waited for 45mins for the train, fell asleep in the train and all thanks to the super kind Japanese who woke us up and told us that we need to transfer train in order to reach Kansai Airport…!! OH MY~ We were super thankful and glad that we actually made it up the plane!! Even the counter staffs at the airport are waiting for us! I think they actually waited for 5 – 10 minutes for late passengers before the plane take off.  Where got such thing one?!?! HOW NICE ISN’T IT?!

Enjoyed the last view of Osaka…

I MISS JAPAN ALREADY~!! =(

Time to say Sayonara~ I love Japan and I missed Japan. Awesome people, awesome food, awesome shopping, awesome weather and what an awesomely clean country!! Haa~ How nice…. I’ll definitely be back again~! ^^
