First stop, Gangnam!
Gangnam-gu is located at the South of Han River. Cheongdam-dong and Apgujeong are located in this district! (where you can find most of the luxury brands) If you’re looking for high-end fashion street, this will be the place that you’re looking for! Many of the Kpop headquarters and broadcast stations are around here too, so keep your eyes WIDE open! 0.0

Moved on to Dongdaemun in the late afternoon for some night shopping!

I’ve promised to bring them to the Jjimjilbang (Korean Sauna / Korean Public Bath House) and so here we are~!! The temperature that day was at -17°C (the lowest during our trip) so it was the best time to visit the Jjimjilbang!! It was too cold outside to travel further to the bigger Jjimjilbang, so I brought them to the nearby smaller ones. This place is located near Hongik University and it’s in between Hongik Univ Station and Hapjeong Station. It cost us only 7000 – 8000 won and we can slack all we want for the whole day/night!
We can’t bring our camera in to the sauna and bath area, so we uses our phone to take pictures (so pardon the lousy quality)!
Enjoying our dinner the typical Korean way! Korean cup noodles + Tea/rice wine + Korea Drama = Happiness!! This was my 2nd time and I totally love it!! Been missing it for 2 long years and finally I get to enjoy my time here again! How I wish I can bring Jjimjilbang back home with me!
Inside the Charcoal Room, the only room with the temperature that suits us and it was at 42°C!
Chillaxing~ I fell asleep for awhile and I perspired so much!! Good for detoxing! ^^
Another day of shopping! Yuhooo~!
Very nice Soondubu and Beef Jjigae for breakfast, yes, a bit too heavy! Getting ready to ‘chiong’ our last day of shopping cause the next few days they’ll be celebrating the Lunar New year too and so most of the shops will be closed!
We came here to look for a cafe but unfortunately it has already closed down. Wasted trip. =(
So we went to MYEONGDONG~!!!! My favourite shopping street! =)
I got myself a whole new set!! And Kelvin got his too!
Took a break at a cosy cafe named ‘Lamp’. Super cosy with a nice ambience.
This is the place where I buy a cup of coffee and they served me a slice of cake for free! Both their coffee and cakes are rich and yummy~ just nice for my taste buds!
What I love to do the most while traveling…. Find a good side-walk cafe with a good view of the street, order my cuppa coffee and watches the world go by. During traveling, sometimes it can be stressful, rush and even get paranoid easily. Sometimes, you’ll just need to slow down your foot steps and take a deep breath, isn’t it? Set aside a couple of hours to sit in a cafe and watch the world go by will make your trip more memorable. It clears my mind from the daily stress, while at the same time feeling grateful and how blessed that I am able to be here.
My favourite Korean Supper! AWESOME~!!!! Been missing this for 2 long years!! The feeling of sitting/standing along the street, enjoy biting off chunks and chunks of the delicious fish cakes, the big portion of Ddukbokki and sipping away on the hot soup…… just too blissful! ♥♥
What a wonderful day spent at Myeongdong! Lovely night~
